Google Labs has released what could become a pivotal evolutionary moment in time for the Internet. Google Audio Indexing or GAudi lets you search a given keyword within Youtube videos. This could potentially and probably will change the Internet as we know it.
For Internet Marketers this is just, oh well, absolutely huge. Not to sound over-dramatic, but the impact this could have on your Social Marketing campaigns could be staggering. It could also be al lot of fun as well. You would basically optimise your Youtube videos for specific keywords. Personally, I’m very excited.
At this stage you can only search within political campaigns. I’ve played around with it a bit and it actually works! A nice feature are the bookmarks which will take you directly to all the positions in the video clip where the specific keyword has been used.

Google Adwords official blog just announced that they are going to enhance the Google Adwords Quality Score mechanism:
In July 2005, AdWords introduced minimum bids for keywords based on Quality Score. This system allows us to show very high quality ads to Google users, while also giving advertisers control over their keywords. Since 2005, we’ve improved Quality Score in many ways, such as the inclusion of landing page quality and landing page load time as factors. Along the way, we’ve also received much helpful feedback from both users and advertisers.
Today, we’d like to let you know of further improvements we’ll introduce in the coming weeks — based, in part, on this feedback. First we’ll outline the key points, and then dive into the details:

The amazing thing about the Internet is that it never intended to be a vehicle for making money. Online business purely got born out of the vision of someone who realised the full business potential from an entrepreneurial point of view.
One of the absolute misnomers about the Internet is that it is a playground for the corrupt, those not fit to be part of the free community, those who monger about with no integrity whatsoever. Unfortunately, or fortunately for your sake, that is just one side of the coin. I believe than that which is inanimate, for example money, cannot be corrupt. Being corrupt is a human trade and any system currently available, be it the Internet or the Government, can be abused for personal gain. That being said, the other side of the coin is just as much a reality and it is a personal choice on which you are going to focus. There are rotten apples in every basket.
