Google Labs has released what could become a pivotal evolutionary moment in time for the Internet. Google Audio Indexing or GAudi lets you search a given keyword within Youtube videos. This could potentially and probably will change the Internet as we know it.
For Internet Marketers this is just, oh well, absolutely huge. Not to sound over-dramatic, but the impact this could have on your Social Marketing campaigns could be staggering. It could also be al lot of fun as well. You would basically optimise your Youtube videos for specific keywords. Personally, I’m very excited.
At this stage you can only search within political campaigns. I’ve played around with it a bit and it actually works! A nice feature are the bookmarks which will take you directly to all the positions in the video clip where the specific keyword has been used.
